Victoria Westheuser (she/her)

Welcome to my virtual space!
I am a trauma informed integrative therapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotion Focused individual Therapy (EFiT). My approach rooted in attachment theory and trauma-informed care.

I work using client-centered, strengths-based approach that view you as the expert in your life, drawing upon your individual strengths for empowerment towards a meaningful change.
My priority is to ensure you feel seen, supported and validated in your experience as we work together. I want you to feel comfortable in our space. Reaching out for support takes courage but also vulnerability which is not always easy. I view working with clients as an absolute honor to be trusted with the vulnerable parts of themselves, as well as their life experiences.

I grew up in a small, rural, town in Nova Scotia and now reside in Halifax with my husband, precious little girl, and golden retriever named Roxy.

I love to be outdoors, watching my little girl explore nature, I'm a big foodie, enjoy being immersed in good music, long car rides with a podcast, and typically have a coffee in hand!
