Therapeutic Approach
Hello!
I am a trauma informed integrative therapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My approach is integrated with emotion-focused therapies and adheres to principles of trauma-informed care and attachment theory.
My approach is heavily based on client-centered, strengths-based philosophies that view you as the expert in your life, drawing upon your individual strengths to empower you towards a meaningful change.
My priority is to ensure you feel seen, supported and validated in your experience as we work together. I want you to feel comfortable in our space. Reaching out for support takes courage but also vulnerability which is not always easy.
I view working with clients as an absolute honor to be trusted with the vulnerable parts of themselves, as well as their life experiences.
Background & Personal
I grew up in a small, rural, town in Nova Scotia and now reside in Halifax with my husband, precious little girl, and golden retriever named Roxy.

I love being outdoors to hike, paddleboard (absolutely new to this), and cozy bonfires. I am a foodie, enjoy listening to music and speed puzzling.
I love a fresh cup of coffee (multiple) at any time of the day!
