Therapeutic Approach
I am a trauma informed integrative therapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My approach is integrated with emotion-focused therapies and adheres to principles of trauma-informed care and attachment theory.
My approach is heavily based on client-centered, strengths-based philosophies that view clients as the experts in their lives and draws upon the client's unique strengths to empower and help shift into meaningful change. I use a holistic perspective that acknowledges the importance of systemic factors that impact one's quality of life.
My priority is to ensure you feel seen, heard, and understood as we work together. I will honor your unique experiences, where you are in your healing journey, and where you are most comfortable to begin.

Background & Personal
I grew up in a small, rural, town in Nova Scotia and now reside in Halifax with my husband and sweet, golden retriever, Roxy.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Mary's University, and two master's degrees. Most recently, graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Personal time for me involves being in nature, whether it's hiking, running, or sitting by the ocean. I enjoy listening to music, travelling, Italian food, and I love a fresh cup of coffee (or a few)!
Most of my free time is accompanied by my dog, Roxy!
